How Upryte Works

Set up your phone, complete a supported exercise, and let Upryte handle the workout log.

01

Choose a supported exercise

Select a movement such as a squat, push-up, plank, or lunge and follow the camera setup guidance.

02

Follow an editable plan

Use a goal-based weekly workout plan and adjust the exercises, sets, and targets to suit your routine.

03

Let Upryte count the set

Keep the relevant joints in view while on-device pose tracking identifies completed and partial reps.

04

Review movement insights

After the workout, review possible repeated movement patterns—or a clear message when the set could not be assessed reliably.

AI workout tracker for Android

Your camera becomes the workout log.

Upryte is an AI-powered workout tracker for Android that uses on-device pose estimation to follow supported exercises through your phone's camera. It helps you set up the camera, counts completed and partial repetitions, tracks workout duration, and saves your training history automatically.

Create an editable weekly workout plan based on your goal, experience, available equipment, and preferred session length. After a workout, Upryte reviews repeated movement patterns when camera visibility is sufficient. When a set cannot be assessed reliably, the app says so.

Useful insights start
with honest limits.

Upryte is designed to be conservative about what a phone camera can and cannot see.

Informational, not medical advice

Possible movement patterns

Upryte describes repeated patterns it can observe after a workout. It does not present a diagnosis or claim perfect form accuracy.

Clear camera coverage

The app depends on a usable view of the joints involved in an exercise. Camera angle, lighting, distance, and obstructions all matter.

Honest assessment states

When visibility is not good enough to assess a set reliably, Upryte tells you instead of turning uncertainty into confident feedback.

Questions, answered

AI workout tracking, without the mystery.

How does Upryte count exercise repetitions?

Upryte uses on-device pose tracking to follow visible body landmarks through your Android phone’s camera. For supported exercises, it uses those movement patterns to identify completed and partial repetitions.

Does Upryte record or upload camera video?

Camera processing happens on your device. Upryte uses the camera view to assess movement and does not require an account to track a workout.

Which exercises does Upryte support?

Supported movements include squats, push-ups, planks, lunges, glute bridges, curls, deadlifts, overhead presses, and pull-ups. Assessment depends on camera placement and visibility.

Can Upryte replace a personal trainer?

No. Upryte is a workout tracking tool, not a personal trainer or medical service. Its movement insights are informational and should not replace professional guidance.

Why might a workout say it could not be assessed?

Pose tracking needs a clear view of the relevant joints. If lighting, camera angle, distance, or an obstruction makes a set unreliable to assess, Upryte reports that limitation instead of presenting uncertain feedback as fact.

Does Upryte work without an account?

Yes. No account is required, and workout history is stored locally on your device.

Is Upryte available on iPhone?

Upryte is currently available for Android. An iPhone version is not currently listed.
